The Story of De Waterkloof
De Waterkloof has been a cornerstone of the Rustenberg countryside since 1895. Originally built by an affluent family, the farmhouse has been passed down through generations — standing not only as a home, but as a gathering place for the rural community that blossomed around it.

Today, the farm is lovingly cared for by its new owners — once neighbours whose own family farm shares a similarly rich legacy. With deep roots in the area, their family histories are intertwined with this land — many of their ancestors now resting in the nearby graveyard that quietly tells the story of time, love, and legacy.

De Waterkloof isn’t just a farmhouse — it’s a place where past and present meet, where memories live on in every stone and tree, and where guests are invited to slow down, reconnect, and become part of the story.
